Artrage tasmania3/16/2023 A vibrant and often provocative exhibition, that provides insight into young people’s ideas and creative processes. Jun 19 - July 11, 2021.For producer Matt Ward 2020 was an endless list of frustrations which saw him thwarted many times over, and saw his hard fought for production of Mamma Mia shelved because of Covid 19. ArtRage is an annual initiative of the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery (QVMAG) which draws on folios of work by Tasmanian Certificate of Education students. The works exhibited reflect the originality of the individual students and the creativity that is encouraged by these schools.ĪrtRage continues to provide a wonderful opportunity for visitors to view the diverse and thought-provoking artworks by these talented and highly creative young artists. These artworks have been selected by QVMAG from works shortlisted by the art teachers of the various colleges. Showcasing the talent of many of Tasmanias’ future arts professionals, this exhibition can be viewed in the creative environment of the Centre for the Arts.ĪrtRage 2010 includes artwork from secondary art students statewide.
